Welcome to LUMEA LABS. These Terms of Service govern your use of our websites, digital products, and services. By accessing or using any part of our platform, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that you have read and understood them. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

1. Overview

LUMEA LABS provides software development, automation, and digital consulting services. All contracts, proposals, and project scopes are subject to these Terms. We may modify or replace them at any time, and such changes will take effect upon publication on this page.

2. Eligibility and Conduct

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You agree not to misuse our website, interfere with its security features, or attempt to access restricted areas without authorization.

3. Service Delivery

All development timelines, deliverables, and milestones are provided as estimates. LUMEA LABS aims to deliver within the agreed schedule, but delays may occur due to technical or client-related factors. We will communicate transparently about any changes in scope or timing.

Clients are responsible for providing necessary content, assets, and feedback in a timely manner. Failure to do so may affect delivery dates and final outcomes.

4. Fees and Payment

All services are billed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise. Invoices are due within 7 days of issue unless agreed upon differently in the project proposal. Late payments may result in project suspension or service termination.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Once development work or consulting time has commenced, payments are typically non-refundable. All card transactions are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

5. Intellectual Property

All custom code, visuals, and documentation produced by LUMEA LABS remain our intellectual property until the project has been paid in full. After final payment, ownership of the completed deliverables transfers to the client unless otherwise specified in writing.

We retain the right to showcase anonymized or public versions of completed work in our portfolio for promotional purposes.

6. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of all client information. Any data, files, or discussions shared with LUMEA LABS will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, except where legally required or with client consent.

7. Warranties and Limitations

All services are provided “as is.” LUMEA LABS makes no guarantee that its software or systems will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services.

8. Maintenance and Support

Unless explicitly included in a separate agreement, ongoing maintenance, updates, and support are not covered beyond project delivery. Clients may subscribe to a support plan for continuous monitoring, updates, and technical improvements.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. The client is responsible for compensating LUMEA LABS for all completed work and hours spent up to the termination date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.
